Trinity Kids is a faith-based non-profit organization which means that our ministry is Biblically-based. Every activity is carefully planned so the volunteers can embody God's unconditional love and develop trusting relationships with the abused, neglected and abandoned children in their care. That said, Trinity Kids will not violate local, state or national laws, nor jeopardize any partnerships with Child Protective Services or Foster Care agencies by forcing any child to make decisions about their faith beliefs.
While Trinity Kids is a faith based organization we adhere to three guidelines about our beliefs: 1) no child will ever be coerced into accepting a particular religion; 2) the foster placement program, foster parents or other caretakers are given a voluntary choice; and 3) no religion is ever criticized or denigrated.
Statement of Faith
Because Trinity Kids is a faith-based organization it maintains several Biblical beliefs:
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (Psalms 119:89; Mathew 24:35; 2 Timothy 2:15; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Psalms 12: 6-7)
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, 26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Timothy 1:17; 1 John 5:7, Isaiah 43:10-12, Isaiah 44:8, John 3:16; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:8)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (1 Timothy 2:5; Ephesians 2:18; Philippians 2:6-11)
We believe:
“If we confess with our mouth ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. For it is with our heart that we believe and are justified, and it is with our mouth that we confess and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)
“That if we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
“Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name in heaven given to man by which man is saved.” (Acts 4:12)
“It is by grace we are saved, through faith-and not from ourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
“That God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. We believe heaven is a real literal place of eternal peace and joy prepared for all who trust in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ and are born again. There is a place of eternal punishment for everyone who rejects the free gift of salvation. (1 Corinthians 15:51-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 14:1-3; Revelation 20; Matthew 18:8; Matthew 25:41; Mark 9:42-48)
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus. (Ephesians 4:1-16; Romans 12:4-5; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
